Amanda Povall Tailyour: After a successful career in international business, Amanda graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2004. She has experience in contract law, insurance defense law, corporate law and complex litigation. More recently a significant portion of her practice has been dedicated to defending State Farm Fire & Casualty Company in Hurricane Katrina litigation pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Amanda is licensed to practice law in the State of Mississippi, the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in 2008.
